Our commitments

Compliance

Compliance by design

Compliance with the GDPR, the Data Governance Act and the Data Act is integrated from the project design stage and throughout its implementation.

Access and operation under objective, transparent and non‑discriminatory conditions in compliance with French and European competition law

Groups bringing together actors from the same sector as well as service providers require objective, transparent and non‑discriminatory conditions of access and operation.

Shared compliance tool for cultural institutions

The Technè data space will deploy technological solutions enabling its users (cultural establishments, producers, creators, authors) to comply with their legal obligations (GDPR/ePrivacy) in particular for the collection of consent.

Lasting quality

Solid institutional framework

In synergy with the guidelines of the ministry and existing public mechanisms (SNUM, Datalab, AMDAC), Technè benefits from a favorable environment which guarantees its stability and recognition over time.

Adapted legal model

Public‑private and cross‑border cooperation provides a robust foundation for ensuring the project's continuity. It guarantees compatibility with the public interest while limiting economic imbalances.

A cooperative structure of collective interest via a SCIC

This structure allows for profit generation while reserving a portion of the distribution to fund the shared collective project. It enables the collaboration of private and public companies, associations, unions, professional communities, and public authorities. Each member has one vote, but governance is weighted according to their respective roles and contributions. The dataspace itself is not intended to generate profits. Nevertheless, it is designed as a commercial entity, cooperative in nature, and serving the collective interest.

Sustainability

Ecological transition

Technè's technological infrastructure is designed to minimize the environmental impact of its operations by implementing sustainable practices and eco‑responsible strategies for development, storage, server management, and data processing.

For example, the code design follows eco‑responsible principles aimed at reducing request volume, space usage, and energy consumption . Technological choices prioritize energy‑efficient components, as well as frameworks and languages that minimize the carbon footprint. Servers are hosted according to environmental management system standards (ISO 14001). Environmental impact analysis tools (Green IT Analysis) are implemented to optimize space and energy use. The project integrates cultural digitization into a sustainable framework, compatible with ecological transition goals.

Highlighting existing services

The Technè Data Space is based on the interconnection of partners, not on a centralized platform. Existing, interoperable technologies will be developed and deployed to leverage proven solutions. This model is more robust, limits the risk of dependency, and values the skills of each participant while respecting the integrity of their databases , their investments, and their strategic decision‑making autonomy.

Independence

Cultural diversity

The project places the richness and plurality of French‑language and European content at the heart of its approach, protecting forms of creation often marginalized in global market logics.

European interoperability

By aligning itself with European standards (TCF - IAB Europe for example for the consent signal), the Data Space ensures its compatibility with European initiatives and promotes transnational cooperation.

Balanced cooperation

Each entity contributes according to its skills and resources, reinforcing a logic of balance and solidarity. This approach fosters long‑term commitment from partners.
